Computer Field Service Manager Trainee

This
position will be primarily working in the support center assisting technicians
out in the field with technical and logistical issues. You may spend
several days a month in the field. We
require that you have a minimum of 4 years experience working
on Sun Microsystems servers as a computer field service technician.Experience
troubleshooting and repairing hardware problems with Sun Microsystems
servers not just system administration issues is required. Experience
with other hardware is helpfull such as printers, network hardware etc.
If you have experience with line printers that would be helpful.. This
is a direct employee position and is full time with full benefits.
You must have excellent communication skills to handle end user clients
professionally and clearly communicate technical issues.

| Minimum
Experience: |
We
require that you have a minimum of 4 years experience
working on Sun Microsystems servers as a computer field service

Knowledge: |
Experience with midsize Sun(Enterprise/Sun Fire), IBM (RS6000/AS400)
or HP(9000/3000) Unix servers is helpfull but not required.
Experience with line printers like Printronix, Genicom or C.Itoh
is helpfull but not required.
Operating System experience with Microsoft, Unix and Solaris
system administration very helpful but may not be required.
Product knowledge of Cisco, Sun Microsystems, HP, Dell, IBM,
Printronix, Genicom extremely helpful. |
